Ms. Danielle Manning from the Archives of Ontario presented photos and spoke about the collection from Ontario’s Archives. Her talk, “Century of Ontario Photographs”, dealt with the accumulated archives from the past century. The archives’ records date back to the 1500’s, but images, of course, date back about 150 years.
The Archives is located on the campus of York University at 134 Ian Macdonald Blvd., well worth a visit to Animalia and the Archives. Armchair visitors can explore the holdings of the Archives, find out how to research family or government information, and more at http://www.archives.gov.on.ca/en/index.aspx
